Fundraising
Rescued animals, particularly abandoned ones, are a drain on our resources and fundraising is a constant concern for the day-to-day running of the sanctuary. Water costs £40 a week, and electricity £2,500 a year; our two essential vehicles use £100 worth of petrol a week (plus, of course, road tax and insurance). As we care deeply for all our animals, we do not cut corners by giving them low grade cheaper food. We buy the best so that they will be in the best possible condition to go to their new homes.
Supporters
We appreciate the supporters who compete in sponsored events and organise fundraising events for us. Thank you for your efforts. Also, we thank our small team of volunteers who help out regularly at the sanctuary and at the shows. Extra hands are always necessary and we do appreciate the time you spend helping to care for our rescues.
